Positive Vibes Mobile Disco

HISTORY

Positive Vibes originated in 1994 as part of a musical collaboration between founding members Mike Jarred and myself Steve Sansom, who aimed to transfer our love of music into something more fruitful. Sadly mike left the partnership in 1996 to pursue his chief love of soul music, but he still keeps in touch and has the occasional gig to boot.

I have retained my share of the company and since then have built up a regualr list of customer and agencies. In 1997 I joined the Thames Valley Disco Jockey Association or T.V.D.J.A., whose expertise and contacts assisted the development of the disco even more. I also met Andrew Mitchell and Dave Seamer of Dave Seamer Entertainment whose technical and retail support was invaluable to the company.

Since then I have worked for major agencies such as Chess Disco, the DJ.co.uk and am now one of the main DJ's for Spotlight Entertainment of Sutton who regularly supplies functions to venues around the South East.

I am a keen supporter of the industry and anxious to support it by my active membership of the National Association of Disc Jockeys or N.A.D.J. - this was formally know as T.V.D.J.A.. I am also the treasurer of the association and attend branch meetings and the annual Trade Show they have at the Motorcycle Museum in Birmingham.

In 2006 I further authenticated the creditablity of the business by enrolling in the Federation of Small Businesses (FSB) who insist on high standards for their membership.
